Cat hair and health problems?

cat health problems

My cousin got some sort of lung sickness from the cat she used to have because some of the hair from the cat got into her lungs?

Anyone else know about the same thing?
Suggestions to prevent if it is a serious problem?

Any additional information?
No links please, post everything in here.

:]

Thank you!

What links would there be? I guess they would be on the same page as the person selling the golden gate bridge cause it is nonsense

The lungs are pretty good about expelling large foreign debris, and cat hair is relatively HUGE in terms of what the lungs would consider large debris. Even something as small as dust can cause enough coughing to clear the lungs. People who’ve been in fires and inhaled soot are eventually cleared of foreign debris and go on to live healthy pulmonary lives.

If there’s any truth to your story, I think you’ve gotten some details wrong. It’s more likely that your cousin has asthma or an allergy to cat dander. This definitely would be life-threatening if she’s ultra sensitive.
