I’m planning to get a cat, and im thinking of a siamese cat. at this moment i have a dog here, and im just wondering if they could get along?

I don’t mean colors. I mean….. well I’ve seen siamese cats that are extremely skinney with pointy faces and very short hair and other siamese cats with longer hair and not so skinney. Are they not both siamese or are the longer haired ones maybe mixed?
My friend’s cat had kittens and the father is siamese. I haven’t seen the kittens yet but was confused by the difference in pics I found when I did a search. She’s sending me some pictures. I hope they are the “apple heads”. I prefer the look of them.

Siamese Siamese cats?

I just found out that I am pregnant and have a siamese cat. She has scratched several of my friends. Maybe if I have her declawed, would she be good around the baby?

I’ve heard all varieties of opinions from people about the Siamese breed of cat: they’re cantankerous, loud, mean, unlovable, cruel, and absolutely hate people. Now, I’ve always been more of a dog person than a cat person, AND I’m allergic to cats, so I’d be the easiest to convince that these animals are terrible. But in my lifetime I have known 3 gorgeous, sweet and loveable siamese cats who in all honesty have been my most favorite individual pets in memory. And they’re the reason why I got a Siamese myself, when I finally made the decision to get a cat of my own. And compared to the other breeds of cats that my friends own, Oz is the biggest lap-cat (even while still a rowdy kitten!), the most huggable, kissable, pick-up-able little creature I have ever known. The first time you meet him he’ll play with you for half an hour, then curl up in your lap and fall dead asleep.
Are people just getting these opinions from the Siamese cats in the movie 101 Dalmations?

I am thinking about getting a Siamese. I am just wondering if they have nice personalities? I already have a sweet female cat and I think she’s lonely and needs a friend.
Also, do you think that it’s better to have two cats?

i want a tiny chihuahua for christmas, yet i dont want to get rid of my two male siamese cats. would they get along, or be total enemies?

A relative contends that other cats are merely ordinary, whereas _Siamese_ kitties are — well, you see. Quite the Siamese fancier. I’m trying to understand…

We adopted two siamese cats and they are in perfect condition. I am terrified of over feeding them (as happened to my mum’s mixed breed). We have been leaving dry food out all day and giving them 1/2 can between them. Is that correct? Any experienced siamese owners please help!

I got a siamese cat a few months ago and have recently noticed her tail is lightly striped.She is a cream white color with dark gray i would say points.Why is her tail striped like a tiger cat?
Does this mean shes not pure?
she is almost 6 months old.
